Now that summer is here I thought that it was appropriate to make a list of some summer essentials. From makeup to clothing, these are at least essentials for me!

 

                  At the moment my obsession is probably with scrunchies, just because they're so cute, and easy to throw your hair up in! When I don't really want to do anything with my hair I'll just put my hair in my half bun thing! My favorite scrunchy is probably my white or black one just cause it matches with everything. I would definitely recommend going to icing/claires to grab some plain scrunchies!

                I talked about this in one of my other posts but I absolutely love my Maybelline BB cream, I think if you wanted to cover up some blemishes this is definitely a go-to! Especially in the summer, I don't really want a full on foundation look, unless I'm going to work or somewhere with my family. I don't know I told myself I wouldn't wear makeup this summer but I don't really think that that is going to happen! My favorite CC Cream at the moment is definitely from It Cosmetics, I actually don't own this cream, but I had forgotten foundation when I was down in LA with my family, and my sister had some and let me borrow that, and it felt so amazing on my skin!!!

                   This may seem like a weird item to put on this list, but when it is hot and you're starting to get oily you will not regret putting these in your bag! Such an easy item to have on hand and it's so nice! I use ELF Cosmetics blotting paper and I love it! So definitely go and buy this item right now!

                    I absolutely love Midi Dresses and I'm always so sad that when I step into a cute midi dress, that I don't like myself in one! No matter though, pair your favorite midi with a cute pair of strappy sandals, or your favorite wedges (or if you want your favorite pair of sneakers)! It's the perfect summery look! 

                   While I was out and about in Old Fair Oaks with my friends, we stumbled upon a second-hand store, and in there I found the cutest halter top midi dress from J. Crew (and it was only $5) hopefully I will get a wear out of it this summer!

                   Anything off the shoulder I know I will fall in love with it! It's definitely my favorite trend right now! Whether if it's from an off the shoulder dress, or top, I know it'll be a good look. Pair an off the shoulder crop top with a denim button up skirt, or a pair of boyfriend jeans! Or you can wear you can wear an off the shoulder dress with wedges or booties for a cute date on the town, with your friends, or with your boyfriend, or if you're not going anywhere pair it with your favorite sneakers!

                Whatever style of sunglasses you like, they obviously should be on this list. My favorite sunglasses I have right now is currently my heart-shaped sunglasses, or my simple pink sunglasses! Either way they fit my style perfectly, and I absolutely love wearing them!

                The perfect swimwear for the beach is definitely a one piece, if you find a one piece that is okay for you to wear outside with out a shirt on, definitely pair this with a pair of high-waisted, or low-waisted, whatever your style is, shorts and bam! you're ready for the day! Kind of like a cute body-suit (which I would recommend getting) that you can wear in water!

              Whether they are rubber flip flops, Rainbows, or Birkenstocks this item wouldn't be complete without this one! An easy slip on shoe, and can make any of your outfits more summery. I would definitely recommend that if your going out with sneakers, wedges, or booties on to bring a pair of flip flops and throw them in your car or whatever bag you're taking just in case your feet get hot! When I went out to the movies the other night I was wearing my fav pair of booties, but brought my flip flops so I could drive in flip flops on the way home! 

 

 

That's really all of my summer essentials, and it may be different for you but I thought I would share my outlook on summer essentials! Plus when I was thinking of ideas on topics to do this was the first to come to my head!
