Highlight obssesed!!

I can honestly say that I am highlight crazy! I do use drugstore makeup for highlighting, but honestly all I really use is drugstore makeup and there is no shame in that, if they work for what you want, why not buy them?

Before we start if you want to know if you should get a golden highlight or a pink highlight -
for fair/porcelain skin: a pearl colored highlighter
Fair/Medium: Champagne to Pale Pink
Medium/Dark: a neutral peachy tone
Dark/Deep: Gold

So what I start off with on my face is BB cream in the lightest shade from Maybelline, and I no longer use my foundation because this definitely has the coverage I want/need! Even though this is a BB cream and not a highlighter I really wanted to include it because every so often I'll just wear this and I'll get compliments on my highlight and I'm just like "I'm not even wearing highlight" *insert hair flip here*

After I conceal my under eye circles and set them I use my NYX Liquid Illuminator in the champagne color on just my cheek bones, and then blend it in with my Beauty Blender! And then if I'm wearing a shirt that shows my collar bones or my shoulders I'll apply it there too! (I'm telling you I'm obsessed with highlighter!)
Then finally using my NYX Cosmetics fan brush and my ELF Highlighter in the shade Pink Diamond, I just sweep this on to my cheekbones, and the cupid bow of my lips
(I think that's what it is called) and then again if I'm wearing a shirt that shows my collar bones or shoulders I just apply it where I put my liquid illuminator!

Side not: I have found with my ELF highlighter that it doesn't show up as well without something under it, like foundation or my illuminator, and you might be thinking "then it's just the illuminator showing not the ELF" because ELF is probably the cheapest makeup brand, but I know that applying this over my NYX Illuminator definitely brightens my face!

and then once I'm done I just use a tiny bit of my Milani blush, in the shade Tea Rose, on the apples of my cheeks and a tiny bit on my nose. I no longer use bronzer on my face because I really just like the look of only highlighter!

So if you don't use highlighter ever, even though I doubt that, I definitely recommend using these if you don't want to buy expensive makeup, but if you do want to buy a more high-end makeup I definitely would recommend the Becca Highlighter or the Anastasia Glow Kit (which I'm probably going to end up buying)
